Getting Started
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a science-based approach used to improve specific behaviors, skills, and learning in individuals, often those with autism or other developmental differences. ABA focuses on understanding how behavior works, teaching new skills, and reinforcing positive behaviors while reducing behaviors that may interfere with learning or daily life.
ABA therapy is most commonly used to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It can also be helpful for children and adults with other developmental or behavioral challenges, including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – improving communication, social, and daily living skills
Developmental delays – supporting skill development in areas like language, socialization, and self-care
Attention and behavioral challenges – teaching coping strategies, reducing disruptive behaviors, and reinforcing positive behaviors
Social or learning difficulties – helping individuals develop appropriate social interactions and learning strategies
Our ABA therapy programs support children and adolescents, typically from 18 months through 18 years old. We create individualized plans based on each child’s developmental level and needs, so therapy is tailored to help them succeed at home, school, and in the community.
Yes! We provide ABA therapy in the home, at schools, and through telehealth to best meet the needs of each child and family. Our flexible service options make it easier to access therapy in the environment where your child learns and grows most effectively.
To begin ABA therapy, we typically conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your child’s strengths, needs, and goals. This may include:
Behavioral Assessment – Observing your child’s behavior to identify areas for growth and any challenges.
Skill Assessment – Evaluating communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
Parent/Caregiver Interview – Gathering information about your child’s history, routines, and goals.
These assessments allow our team to create an individualized ABA therapy plan tailored specifically to your child. Additional assessments may be recommended based on your child’s unique needs.
